This TED Pro package is designed for commercial breaker panels up to 2,000A and includes three 2,000 Amp 24" Flexible CTs (Rogowski Coils). The TED Pro energy monitoring control system is a state of the art system for use in any commercial and small industrial complex. The system allows the user to monitor energy usage in real time, thereby managing energy use through awareness of energy use and costs. Energy use and alerts can be presented on a custom display, computer, over the internet, on mobile devices, or by text or email notifications.
Coloured LEDs alert the user to rate-tier changes, high demand, cost or other user defined parameters. There are no additional costs for software, which comes embedded in the system.

TED's three phase electricity monitoring system works with a building's existing electrical system to collect, analyze, & store electricity data in five simple steps:
Electricity travels from the utility to the building's meter, where the utility measures the amount of electricity usage. Electricity then flows into the building's breaker panel through three main incoming conductors.
Inside the breaker panel, Current Transformers (CTs) are clamped around the main incoming wires to accurately measure the amount of electricity the building is using. The CTs are sensitive to one watt with a +/- 1% accuracy.
Inside the breaker panel, the CTs are connected to a Measuring Transmitting Unit (MTU). The MTU sends the data via Powerline Carrier Communication (which travels over the existing power line) or, if desired, by using an Ethernet connection.
An Energy Control Center (ECC) is the data-receiving hub that analyzes and stores real time electricity data. The ECC is embedded with Footprints data-logging software, and connects to any computer or router via Ethernet. The ECC can also be equipped with a ZigBee USNAP card to communicate with an optional wireless display.
Embedded in the ECC is TED's interactive Footprints software, which can be viewed on a computer (locally or remotely), smart phone, wireless display (via ZigBee), or any other Internet-enabled device. TED's comprehensive data provides instant electrical data in both dollar and kWh amounts, allowing business owners/managers determine how to lower their electricity bill.
TED Pro is an ideal tool for any business owner/manager wanting to save money by tracking and reducing electricity usage. TED Pro Commercial has been installed in restaurants, churches, schools, dorms, apartments, gas stations, convenience stores, marinas, government and military buildings, and strip malls, resulting in a significant decrease in electricity usage (8-15%).
