The Kill-A-Watt Graphic Timer (P4480) is an electricity usage monitor and shut off timer that empowers you to save $100's on electric bills. The Kill A Watt Graphic Timer is easy to use and program on/off times for any plug-in appliance or device. Also, use the Graphic Timer to measure current volts, amps, watts and always displays cumulative kWh.

The Kill-A-Watt Graphic Timer allows you to protect your valuable electronics and find out what they are actually costing you. Simply connect any appliance to your Graphic Timer and the built in energy monitor will assess how efficient it is. You can then program the ON/OFF  period to help you manage and your energy usage and save money. The Kill A Watt Graphic Timer combines the advantages of traditional mechanical and electronic timers; the 7 days and 24 hour  ON/OFF period is as easy to program as with traditional mechanical timer, but it is not limited to one day only. Unfortunately, when using an electronic timer, it's easy to forget which days and times are set for the ON or OFF period. Now you don't need to keep notes. Just press the keys to see the detailed 7 days, 24 hours ON/OFF setting information.

Kill A Watt Graphic Timer Features:
  • 7 day 24 hour timer with backlit graphic LCD clock displays ON/OFF programming at a glance
  • Monitor consumption and quality of your power by measuring Voltage, Amperage, KWH and more
  • Soft power-up eliminates harmful voltage spikes
  • Over Voltage, Under Voltage and Over Current protection provide clean safe power to your expensive appliances

The Good:
Large, back-lit display with large digits + display is angled upwards which makes it easy to read when plugged in near the floor. Allows you to program your device on/off times for every 15 minutes of everyday of the week.

The Bad:
Doesn't show kWh cost.

The Bottom Line:
The Kill A Watt Graphic Timer is easy to setup and program. The auto, and manual on/off buttons allows greater control in case you need your appliance to turn on or off outside what you've programmed in already.

The Kill A Watt Graphic Timer (P4480) is easy to use and program on/off times for any plug-in appliance or device. Also, use the Graphic Timer to measure current volts, amps, watts and always displays cumulative kWh.

Created by the same people that made the Kill-A-Watt and Kill-A-Watt EZ, P3 International, the Kill-A-Watt Graphic Timer is the next generation in this line of home energy power plug meters. The Kill-A-Watt Graphic Timer features a hard to miss large backlit display that shows every 15 minute interval of a day, current volts, amps, watts. In addition, it also shows cumulative kWh (total power consumption) and elapsed time in days, hours and minutes.

When plugged in, the Kill-A-Watt Graphic Timer simply looks like a dark, single-socket surge protector with a digital clock. However, don't let its simple exterior fool you, the Kill-A-Watt Graphic Timer is an advanced timer that makes all traditional device timers wish they were made just like it!

The Display:

The Kill-A-Watt Graphic Timer's display makes up 2/3 of its front surface area, its about as big as an average sized point-and-shoot digital camera. Besides being an oversized display, its angled upwards, so there's no need to put your head to the floor just to read total kWh or even just to check what time it is just in case you forgot where you put your watch last night. Similarly to most timers, the display includes a 24 hour clock. But, another thing that separates the Graphic Timer from traditional timers is the fact that it allows you to program every 15 minute interval of a 24 hour period.

Button Controls:

The Kill-A-Watt Graphic Timer has three buttons on top of the device, "On", "Off", and "Auto". The Auto button is used when you want to have it control your connected device or appliance with the programmed settings. The manual ON/OFF buttons allow you to override those settings in case you need your device on or off in any given moment. To return back to your programmed settings, simply press the "auto" button and its that easy.

Summary:

The Kill-A-Watt Graphic Timer is worth every penny. By allowing you to potentially save $100's on your electricity bill by controlling specific on/off times for any device, after buying the Kill-A-Watt Graphic Timer, it will pay for itself in no time at all.

If you either currently own a Kill-A-Watt or Kill-A-Watt EZ, I highly recommend the Kill-A-Watt Graphic Timer (P4480) because its large display allows for easier energy reading and the timer control will ensure that your plugged-in devices or appliances are only on when you need them.
