The GreenMeter is the only energy monitoring system you will ever need for your renewable energy system. The GreenMeter monitors any of the following, simultaneously:

Power from your solar PV system
Power from your wind turbine
Battery backup condition
AC power supplied by the electric company
AC power used by the building/facility
Irradiance (sun intensity)
Temperature
Wind speed

The Green Meter is easy to install - it mounts to the wall near your home's main electrical panel and is powered by either DC battery power (cables included) or by AC power using the optional plug-in AC adapter.

For renewable energy systems you can use the optional DC sensors to measure DC power produced by solar panels (photo voltaic cells) or wind turbines or, if you prefer, you can use optional AC sensors to monitor AC power output from your inverter.

In addition, for on-grid or hybrid systems, the optional AC current sensors can be used to monitor AC power used by the home and the AC power supplied by your electric company.

Finally, there are several optional environmental sensors for external temperature, irradiance and wind speed.

The opportunities to configure the Green Meter are endless! You can have up to 4x AC or DC inputs plus any of the environmental sensors, all connected simultaneously.

Whichever way you configure it, the Green Meter always includes the following:

Data logging (recording)
Ethernet port for remote data access either through the Internet or local area network
Web based monitoring software
Desktop based software (which runs in your Internet browser)

Both the web page and desktop software display DC power, AC power and environmental information (as long as the appropriate sensors are installed). Each application shows a payback report which shows you in real-time how much money you've saved and how much of an environmental impact your renewable system has made.
