The AcquiSuite brings "plug and play" capability to the data acquisition market, dramatically reducing the time and training to put a typical building on line. In most applications, the installation can be done by the building engineer or contractor in less than 2 hours. The system automatically detects and configures Modbus devices in just seconds reducing installation time and cost. Because the AcquiSuite automatically detects modbus devices, the installer does not need to enter modbus point numbers or multipliers and thereby reduces configuration errors.
After installation, data from the connected modbus devices is time stamped and stored in non volatile memory at user selected intervals. This interval data is stored at the local site until the next scheduled upload to the SQL database server. Using the built-in modem or Ethernet port, data is sent via ether the network or phone lines to the Building Manager Online server, or collected by your own data warehousing system. From the Building Manager Online website, you can view past data, plot charts, and export data for use on your own PC. Remote configuration is also provided at the BMO website to allow administration of AcquiSuite devices that are on intermittent or shared dialup telephone lines.
The A8812-1 version of the AcquiSuite has 8 flex io inputs built in to the unit. Each input can measure analog sensors (4-20mA or 0-10V) as well as pulse output devices. This simplifies installation for basic projects such as utility meter pulse counting. This version also provides a convenient wall mount design for ease of installation near your power distribution panels.
