Good combo for tracking and analyzing energy use

The Good:
TED - -Reasonably easy to set up for a whole house energy monitor -Comprehensive display for monitoring energy usage -Accurate to within 0.5% (my experience over 2 electric bills) WattsUp Pro -Corded (very helpful for plugging in device and appliances) -Data logging (non-volatile memory)
The Bad:
TED -Footprints software needs work -Data logging requires pc operating -Install could be intimidating for people not familiar with circuit panels/electricity Watts Up Pro - Software is cluttered - In today's environment of cheap non-volatile memory, the device should increase its internal memory.
The Bottom Line:
The TED and Watts Up Pro are a very good combination for monitoring whole house energy use and identifying and measuring individual loads. Despite some short comings (see detailed review below), I am very happy with my purchases and would recommend both devices to anyone interested in getting a better handle on their energy use.

The Good:
Excellent Tool In The Effort To Curb Costs And Identify Costs Of Individual Appliances
The Bad:
Not Many Down Points, It Would Be A little Nicer To Have Higher Resolution In The Load Profile Section. Including A Phase Coupling Compactor would Eliminate Some Hassle In The portability Of The RDU. One Of My Computers When Turned On Shuts The Signal Off To The RDU, It Resumes Reading When The Computer Is Turned Off?

This Prouduct Seems To Have All The Basic Tools To Be A Cost Effective Way To At Least Know What The Indivdual Costs Of Running A Household Are.
