Acuvim IIW power meter is a revenue grade power meter with on-board datalogging that can be used to meter & monitor power consumption at electrical panels and energy consuming devices or systems. It offers a wide array of communications options and standard MODBUS communications via a built-in RS485 port. This meter can also be used in conjunction with the free Acuview PC software for remote communications and control.
Since the Acuvim IIW is 0.2% accuracy and meets the ANSI C12.20 standard for revenue grade meters so it can also be used for tenant sub-metering applications.
With so many features for the low price, the Acuvim IIW offers unbeatable value.
Waveform capture: This feature enables the meter to capture the waveform of an AC current and AC voltage up to 8 cycles (1 cycle is one complete sin wave) before and after a swell or dip have occurred. The user may set the trigger conditions determining the swells and dips. This feature helps user’s analysis of dips and swells with non-swelling and non-dipping voltage and current waveforms.
Power Quality Logging: This new feature enables the meter to time stamp the event that a voltage swell or dip had occurred. The meter can save up to 50,000 events. The feature gives the user the ability to track back and see when the voltage dip or swell occurred. Most useful for determining what types of load come on throughout the day that affect the power quality.
MeasurementsAcuvim IIW power meters can be used on any single or three phase electrical system up to 600V AC. Measurement parameters include volts, amps, frequency, power (apparent, active, reactive) & energy, power factor, peak demand, run time, THD and individual harmonics on both voltage and current to the 63rd harmonic.
In addition, Acuvim IIW power meters support four quadrant energy, showing total power, import, export and net power with 0.2% accuracy.
CommunicationsThere are four optional field upgradeable plug-in communications modules for the Acuvim IIW power meter. These modules include analog I/O ports, digital I/O ports, Ethernet, or relays.

In addition, there are three communication modules for the Acuvim IIW -
AXM-PROFI for PROFIBUS communication,
AXM-NET for ethernet communications and the
AXM-RS485 for an additional MODBUS RS485 communication port.
The Ethernet communications module enables MODBUS communication over Ethernet, plus offers configurable email alarms/alerts and a built-in web server for real-time data access through an Internet browser.
A total of 3 external modules can be stacked and used together with each Acuvim IIW meter. All modules are self-detecting and can be configured through the display or through Acuview Software.
SoftwareAcuvim IIW models are compatible with Acuview Software and communicate via MODBUS communications protocol using either the built-in RS485 serial port or the optional AXM-NET Ethernet Module. Acuview Software enables remote meter access for real-time monitoring and local PC-based datalogging. You can download a
demo copy of Acuview software - instructions for installing and using the demo software are in
this PDF document.
Watch a video demo of Acuview software. Acuview software is a PC-based data logging and reporting software designed to extend the capabilities of any Acuvim power meter that uses RS485 or Ethernet communications. Best of all, the software is completely free!
Form FactorThis power meter is packaged in a compact housing that fits a standard 96×96 DIN or 4’’ ANSI Round coutout. The Acuvim IIW display is a large character graphical LCD screen with white back light.
Warranty & ApprovalsAcuvim IIW meters are UL/ULc approved for use throughout North America and come with a 5 Year manufacturer's warranty.
