If you need an inexpensive but effective sub-meter to measure power (kWh), we have just the product - the ELF3234. This small meter measures power used on any 120V or 240V electrical system and is perfect for sub-metering a rental unit, garage, home office ... or anything else that is powered from your home's electrical panel. This little meter does everything you need and you won't be paying for things that you don't!

Available in two different kits (100A or 200A), which one you choose will depend on the maximum current you need to measure. The easiest way to tell is to look at the maximum rating of the breaker on the circuit (or panel) that you want to measure. Make sure the maximum rating of the current sensors in the kit is greater than the maximum amount you expect to measure.

NOTE: because these meters require connection to electrical circuits, you will likely need an electrician to install it for you.
