Measure a Tenant, Suite or Shop
Many people call us looking for a way to quickly and effectively measure the energy used (called “Sub-Metering”) in a tenant suite, garage or area of their home or small commercial building.
If you are looking to measure one or two of these areas, we have a few easy to install solutions for you.
See the Leviton Mini Meter. The Outdoor version can be mounted outdoors. It comes with everything you need, 1 or 2 current transformers (CT) in either split core or solid core configuration. The Leviton Mini-Meter Indoor model is the same meter, but can be mounted in an apartment or other indoor location.
How can you tell how many CT’s you need? Here is a rule of thumb:
- If the service is 120V, 2 wire (one Hot, one Neutral) you need the One CT model
- If the service is 120/208 3 Wire, (two Hot, one Neutral) you will need the 2 CT model
